Reed Handley, Alexis Odesser and Sally Slater will Lead in Financial Services, Business of Health and Innovation
Following a year of unprecedented expansion and insights-driven innovation, The Bliss Group has named the first three Executive Vice Presidents in firm history—Reed Handley, Alexis Odesser and Sally Slater—to drive its future growth.
“Reed, Alexis and Sally’s contributions to The Bliss Group have helped position us as leaders in marketing and public relations, client excellence, innovation and data analytics,” said Cortney Stapleton, CEO of The Bliss Group. “As we continue to tell stories across mediums that inspire action and make an impact, I am thrilled to work alongside these women in leadership to drive meaningful change for our clients.”
Each Executive Vice President will lead a key area of the firm’s growth that will create value for the Bliss team and its clients.
Reed Handley will draw on more than a decade of experience working with senior financial services executives to co-lead the financial services practice and continue in her role as Head of Growth. She is focused on investing in talent to scale the practice’s unmatched sector smarts, innovating its offerings with analytics- and purpose-driven products specifically for clients in the finance world and expanding the agency’s geographic presence in major financial hubs. Reed is a Salire Fellow, member of the Economic Club of New York and sits on PR Council’s Sales and Marketing Committee.
Alexis Odesser will co-lead the business of health practice in addition to her role as Head of Account Excellence for the firm. With more than 15 years of experience as a strategic partner to Fortune 50 companies such as CVS Health and Bank of America, she is dedicated to delivering exceptional counsel and service to every client. Alexis is focused on helping the agency’s more than 100 employees become best-in-class marketing communications professionals and support clients as they navigate our healthcare ecosystem with the goal to improve health outcomes for all.
Sally Slater will continue to develop new data-driven products that drive outsized outcomes for clients in her role as Head of Innovation. She most recently partnered with data science and analytics consulting firm Ringer Sciences to develop the Executive Signals Platform (ESP)—an interactive dashboard that aggregates data on the ideas senior business leaders are discussing to help clients get in front of their target audience and improve executive visibility programs. Sally is a recipient of the PR Daily “Data Diva” Top Women in Communications Award and the Campaign US “Transforming Technology” Inspiring Women Award.
“We love that our growth is providing opportunities for such deserving leaders,” said Bob Pearson, Chair of The Bliss Group. “Our way to say thank you to our clients is to invest in the leaders who help us make the firm a special place.”
